Throw Your Own Thankful Party, Part 1: The Food {FREEBIE}

I know you're all chomping at the bit to use the fabulous free thanksgiving Kids' Table printables that Amanda from Shindig Parties TO GO! created just for readers of AFOMFT, right?

Well, here are some easy and fun ideas for refreshments you can serve little ones at your "Thankful Party" or on turkey day itself.

A full plate of turkey with all the trimmings can be a little overwhelming so why not treat the kiddos to individual turkey pot pies like these from Jamie at My Baking Addiction.

Do they look delicious or what?  Pair them with these fabulous cornbread donuts from Cooking with My Kid and you've got the perfect miniature Thanksgiving Day dinner!

This cheese and cracker turkey from Gluesticks will have adults and kids alike wanting to dig in.

And what child wouldn't want to carve into this fun turkey sandwich created by Jill at Meet the Dubiens?

Thanksgiving may be all about turkey but let's be honest - it's the dessert that everyone really looks forward to!  That's why these Muffin Tin Pumpkin Pies from Make and Takes are so brilliant - not only are they perfectly sized for kids but they also leave room for other sampling other goodies too!

And there are so many sweet treats out there.  I love these turkey cookies from Choose to Thrive:

And Snickerdoodles Bake Shop made these yummy turkeys out of Double Stuff Oreos!

These pumpkin pie bars from Playing House make my mouth water just looking at them.

Smashed Peas and Carrots shows you how to make these chocolate and marshmallow Pilgrim hats.

Our Best Bites has the how to for some fabulous turkey cupcakes.

And Cooking with My Kid has an easy confection for your party-goers to decorate themselves.

Amazing Moms uses a cute cupcake wrapper and a Nutter Butter to make their version, to which I say "Brava!"  (I'm a Nutter Butter fanatic!)

And leave it to Hoosier Homemade to combine two of my favorite things into one with pumpkin pie cupcakes.

Does that get you inspired to throw a little "Thankful Party" or what?  Make a few Turkey Sandwiches, some Chocolate Marshmallow Pilgrim hats and let the kiddos go nuts on some crafts.  What crafts, you ask?  Well, that's for tomorrow's post!
