I love these glitter hearts from Zakka Life. And they are so so simple to make.
Just take some doilies, cut out heart shapes from the lacy part, paint them with glue and then cover with glitter. Shake the excess off and look what you get!
So pretty! You can glue the hearts to cards or string them together to make a garland. Either way, they're easy, inexpensive and adorable.
I know a lot of you have a pile of snow in your yards so this fun idea from No Biggie is perfect for you!
I love love love it! Just paint a sign on cardstock, stuff some mittens and stick 'em on and you've got a Valentine Snowman. How great would this be for pictures with your kids?
Another easy peasy project is the Moustache and Lips Lollipop Valentines from Blonde Designs.
When the kids suck on their sweet treats, they'll be sporting some funny moustaches or lips too.
You can find the downloadable templates for the lips, moustaches and labels here.
I think I may have saved the best for last. Dana Made It has a fabulous Heartbreaker Valentine project that's a little "tougher" and perfect for little boys.
Great, right? Each heart is stapled together with a secret stash of candy inside.
And it really couldn't be any simpler to do. Just print the template out onto colored paper and cut out the hearts.
Or you can use white paper and let your kids can color the hearts in.
The staple them together, leaving a small opening near the top.
Fill the pouch with candy, then staple shut.
And you have the coolest Valentines around!
Get the template and the full how to here at Dana Made It.
Want something even easier? Then print out any one of these free downloadable VDay card templates instead. Just have your kids sign their names and they're good to go!
