Thanks for stopping by!
♥ I thank God for seeing me through another week. It has been a very busy week and very tiring. Thank God for giving me much grace and strength, and simple joy in Him. I am learning to rest in Him and am finding much joy in walking with Him day by day, though there are much ups and downs over the week.
♥ I heard this lovely song "I know Who holds tomorrow" recently and I am reminded that though we do not know about tomorrow and there are many things we may not understand but we know Who holds tomorrow and we know Who holds our hands. It is such a great comfort that no matter what happens tomorrow, God is with us and He will lead us safely through. Should our path be a difficult one, we can still have the assurance of His love for us. This week, I am thankful for this precious reminder from God.
♥ With bipolar disorder, I truly have no idea what will happen from moment to moment. Sometimes my mood changes so quickly and dramatically that I feel I am losing control and don't know what will happen next. Will I go down into severe depression again or rise too high up to mania? At such times, what I need to do is to turn to our Lord Jesus Christ. Though I do not know what will happen and at times it can be frightening, I need to remember that God is in control and He holds my tomorrow. He has promised that His grace is sufficient for me and He will never leave me nor forsake me. Nothing can separate me from His love and He is working all things for my good and His glory even if I can't understand. I will see things clearer in His time and have many reasons to praise Him. So I am learning to depend upon Him day by day and rest in His love and His precious promises. Just taking one day at a time, and moment by moment, and don't worry about tomorrow.
