Happy Father's Day!
From our family to yours! Here's what Gabrielle & Alaina's gave to their daddy this morning. The silhouette artwork I was planning on giving to him isn't quite done yet (sometimes I'm too much of a perfectionist for my own good) so I went with this project instead. My husband loved it even more than the present Steve Jobs & Co. is making for him from me. Now that's saying something!
I hope you all have a wonderful day with your fathers, husbands and families!

MULTIPLES MONDAY: Father's Day Gift Ideas Galore {GIVEAWAY}
I got a lot of e-mails after posting the Silhouette Art Tutorial last week so I decided to do a few more posts featuring great gifts for Father's Day. Since this is MULTIPLES MONDAY, today's round up focuses on presents for dads - or granddads - of twins, triplets or more.
#1 - Set of 5 Photo Blocks spelling Daddy from Waste Not
I love these blocks. They're perfect for displaying in an office and can be customized to say whatever you want.
#2 - Magnetic Picture Board from My Treehouse Treasures
Such a lovely saying for a father of boy/girl twins or triplets. Attach a picture of the kids holding a sign that reads "We love you daddy!" and you're good to go.
#3 - Twins are for Amateurs Tee from Pyjammy's Triple Dip Shop
This Cafe Press store is filled with fun t-shirts for parents of multiples like this "Twins are for Amateurs" design, which is perfect for dads of triplets (or more!), or the "To answer your questions" tee that features the responses to all of the annoying questions we get, including "Yes, twins do run in my family. They run all over the place!" There are also options for grandfathers too.
#4 - Personalized Hand-Stamped Money Clip from Lalabel Creations
Having multiples isn't easy on the wallet so why not get dad a money clip instead?
#5 - Double Dog Tag Photo Key Chain from Simply U Boutique
With this stylish key chain, fathers can always have pictures of their kids handy.
#6 - Custom Silhouette Portrait from Happy Thought
As you may have seen HERE last week, I'm all about silhouettes lately. If you don't feel like attempting your own, here's an adorable - and reasonably priced - alternative.
#7 - Proud Papa Hand-Stamped Dog Tag Necklace from Brag About It
A simple and modern way for dads to keep their kids close to their hearts.
#8 - We Love Daddy Personalize Key Chain from Hands on Keepsakes
This key chain is so sweet and ideal for any pop celebrating his first Father's Day.
With all of these fun Father's Day options to choose from, you should be able to find something for even the pickiest father of multiples. And almost all of these ideas will work for those of you who with singletons too. Well, except for the triplet dad shirt. That one's really for an exclusive club!

CRAFTASTIC: Silhouette Artwork How To
Father's Day is just around the corner and if your husband is as hard to shop for as mine is, you're probably stumped about what to get him. I've been racking my brain for the perfect present and I finally decided that this year, I'm going to go a little less materialistic and a little more sentimental. Here's what I have in mind.
Honey, if you're reading this, please stop.
No, seriously.
STOP!!!
Okay, here we go....
That's right, I'm going to attempt to make two of these silhouette collages for him to hang in his office. I've read a ton of tutorials on how to do it and most of them involve hanging a piece of paper on the wall, sitting your child on a chair and blasting a light at them so you can trace their shadow onto the piece of paper. Yeah. I have two unruly 20 month olds. Getting them to sit still - let alone long enough to trace their shadow - is not an option. Luckily, I found a great silhouette how-to on the fabulous site Living With Lindsay that won't require me to super glue my girls to a chair.
In Lindsay's version, you take a photo of your subject in profile. She used her dog, Jackson.
Then she printed the picture out in the size she wanted for her silhouette and cut it out:
And flipped it over before tracing it onto a piece of black paper.
Then she cut the image out and mounted it on a piece of white card stock.
So cute! I love the silhouette of the little boy holding a teddy bear Lindsay also has in her collection.
I also plan on tracing the girls' hands to frame along with their names and the date like in that first picture I posted above. Silhouette collages would make wonderful gifts for fathers or grandfathers on Father's Day or even as artwork to hang in a nursery. I'm thinking about searching through my old pictures of the girls to see if I can find some profile shots so I can make one of them as newborns, at one year and so on.
You can get the full silhouette tutorial here at Living With Lindsay, and if you try this project, send us a photo of how it came out! I'll post mine once they're done. Wish me luck!
