A None Too Shabby Apple {GIVEAWAY & DISCOUNT}

Spring is in the air here in NYC today and you know what that means, right?  It's time to bust out all of my beloved dresses.  There's nothing I love more than putting on a fun frock, some stylin' shoes and sweet sunglasses.  It just makes me feel so.... I don't know.  Girly.  And Audrey Hepburn-esque, you know?

And one of my favorite places to get chic but well-priced dresses is Shabby Apple.  Why do I love them?  Well besides having fabulous designs, they make sure that all of their pieces are what dresses were meant to be - one-piece outfits.  You won't have to add a tank top or belt - if they're meant to have one, it's built in.  Like the Nine to Five dress, which I own.

All you need to add is a cute pair of shoes and you're good to go.  Their simple and stylish clothes make it that much easier to get out the door in the morning!

All of the Shabby Apple Women's Dresses are grouped by collections named after what inspired the designs.  The Oh La La dresses are influenced by the romance of Paris, like the fun L'Amour:

The earthiness of the Berkshires brings you the Cider:

The elegant Moon River dress comes from the All That Jazz collection:

The South Pacific dresses include the stunning North Shore:

Baja is where you'll find the pretty San Gabriel.

And the Marseilles dress comes from my hometown's Central Park collection.

Aren't they all gorgeous?  I would love to own each and every one.  But I'm not the only one who can dress up in Shabby Apple!  They also carry maternity dresses and kid's clothing.  Their little girls collection starts at size 6-12 months and runs to size 8 and they have pre-teen sizes available as well.  I know Gabrielle and Alaina would look adorable in the 45 Words Per Minute dress:

And the adorable Creamsicle wrap!

Too sweet!

In addition to designing fabulous dresses, Shabby Apple is also giving back. They're partnered with Unitus, a non-profit organization that uses micro-finance to help women overcome poverty and provide a better life for their children.  Shabby Apple donates 5% of its net sales to support women in India and each customer has the opportunity to donate an extra five dollars to Unitus every time she buys a dress.  Every $100 donation from provides at least 20 women with access to financial services to build their dream - and the chance to live a life without poverty. Clearly, buying a dress isn't just buying a dress.

If you're ready to kick-start your wardrobe, head on over to Shabby Apple and get to browsing.  I'm sure you'll find the perfect dress to put a spring in your step!

And one lucky AFOMFT reader is going to win one of her very own!  That's right - Shabby Apple has generously offered to give away any of the dresses I showed above.  You can choose from the women's or kid's designs.  How fabulous is that?

To enter, post a comment here telling me which Shabby Apple dress you'll choose if you win (this is mandatory). For additional entries:

A Valentine's Day Dilemma {GIVEAWAY & DISCOUNT}

I'm all about dressing Gabrielle and Alaina up for Valentine's Day.  Two years ago, they were just a few months old so their get ups consisted of onesies and leggings.

Last year, I went with tutus and initial tees.

So you can probably guess what I'm on the hunt for now, right?  Luckily for me, klzart, one of my favorite Etsy sellers, just added has a whole bunch of Valentine's designs to her shop.  So what do you think?  Should I go with the LO-VE appliqued tops?

The super cute love bugs?

Or two of the Conversation Heart tees?

I'm kind of leaning toward the LO-VE set in these colors:

But getting the girls to sit together is a challenge enough these days, let alone sit in "order."  VE-LO may not translate!  So maybe I'll get the conversation hearts with their names in them instead.

Decisions, decisions!

All of the klzart tees feature hand sewn appliques, and while the listings state that they're for Twin-zies or Trip-zies, Kelly can customize them for siblings or friends, too, so if you need one onesie and one larger tee or just three different sizes, it's no problem.  I've posted before about how great the quality of her work is so if you're looking for the perfect Valentine's Day number for your kiddo, look no further!

And here's a sweet treat - Kelly has generously offered to give away one Conversation Heart Tee to a lucky AFOMFT reader (or if you want to buy a twin or trip set, she'll apply a $25 credit to your order)!  I want to make sure the winner gets it in time for Valentine's Day so this will be a very quick giveaway - it closes in just three days. To enter, post a comment here telling me what saying you'll put in your conversation heart if you win (this is mandatory). For additional entries:
  • Visit klzart on Etsy and add the store to your favorites.

Double (or Triple!) The Holiday Cheer! {GIVEAWAY}

You may remember that earlier this year, I posted about adorable handmade tees and onesies for twins ("Twinzies" and "Twin Teez")and triplets ("Tripzies" and "Trip Teez") from Kelly from klzart.  A mother of twins herself, she comes up with such fun combos for multiples!  Dont' believe me?  Just check out AFOMFT reader Jen's triplets in the Rock, Paper, Scissors Trip Teez:

And look at how cute the Sugar and Spice Twin Teez are on Gabrielle and Alaina.

These shirts are always appropriate because someone is usually being sweet.

While someone else is having a spicy moment.

The felt appliques on the shirts are so detailed and darling up close.

And the quality is great so I was super excited when I saw that Kelly has added holiday designs to her shop!  It makes me want triplets just so they could wear these:

I mean, really, could you just die from the cuteness?

There's also a pair of Christmas Sock Monkeys.

And your own personal version of Sleigh Bells.

I think my duo definitely need these for when we visit Santa!

The klzart sets are perfect for holiday photos.  And if you're looking for something your kiddos can wear year round, there are plenty of other designs that will do the trick.  Maybe a little Tic Tac Toe?

Or Rock 'N Roll?

My fellow NYCers will appreciate the Brooklyn Bridge Twinzies.

And for all of you sports lovers out there, klzart has a ton of terrific team designs.

Kelly loves to do custom designs so if there's something you want but you don't see, let her know.  And if you don't have multiples, she can make the sets in different sizes so they work for siblings too. If you love unique, mom-made products like I do, then you'll love the tees from klzart.  And that's why they're one of my HOLIDAY GIFT PICKS

And I've got a great present for one of you!

Kelly has generously offered to give away one set of Twinzies or Twin Teez from her holiday line to a lucky AFOMFT reader!  To enter, visit klzart and post a comment here telling me what you'll pick if you win (this is mandatory).  For additional entries:

Turkey Day Duds {GIVEAWAY}

You may remember me posting back in June about these adorable 4th of July shirts I bought for Gabrielle and Alaina from my fellow twin-mama Cristil's store lilsteinstyles featuring sam-n-i:

Well, she's got the cutest Thanksgiving tees in her shop now and I had to share them.  They're not your typical turkey tees, though.  They feature a vintage Disney Thanksgiving scene, and they are darling!

This design comes in size 0-3 months up to size 12 so you can coordinate your clan for the big day.  How sweet are these two?

And yes, that is a matching tutu on the little lady!

Love it!

Best of all, the prices are great - the onesies and t-shirts are $14.99 and the tutus are $10.99.   Orders must be received by November 21st for delivery by Thanksgiving, and stay tuned - lilsetinstyles featuring sam-n-i has Christmas designs coming soon!
